Yes, it most certainly is. There were more than a few kids in attendance.

What can be said about Frogtoberfest that hasen't already been said? Fantastic campground? Check. Wonderful people? Check. Outstanding Oktoberfest in town? Check. Food, food and more food? Check. Weather to die for? Check.
But I'll try to put some 'color' on it for you folks that are sitting on the fence about making the trip next year.
Campground? Amana RV park is large, flat and situated out in the middle of nature. Last couple years, we could hear the cows mooing at night. Didn't hear many this year, I think the farmer had them in a different field. The staff is very accommodating and friendly, and we literally rolled in, gave out name to the lady standing out side, and was escorted to our site by a golf-cart. I wonder why I even put it in park. The sites are laid out kinda funky though, with 2 spots close together, then a large open area and then 2 more spots together. You you either get a large front 'yard' with a neighbor close to you in back, or a large back 'yard', and a neighbor 12 feet off your front door. It works for a group setting, because those large yards make for wonderful gathering areas. All the facilities are clean and top-notch. Wifi coverage is dense and speeds seemed good to me. It's a great venue
Wonderful People? More than you can imagine. Everyone got along great, with some dear old friends mixed in with new people that we just met. Nobody should sit there and go "I don't want to go because I won't know anyone there". That was the excuse I used to avoid rallies for years, and now I am hooked. If you see group around a campfire, you are more than welcome to wonder up and introduce yourself. You'll probably be invited to pull up a chair.
Outstanding Oktoberfest? Well, that kinda is the reason we do this. Its about as an authentic Oktoberfest as you will find outside of Munich. The Festhalle barn is lively, with oompah music and plenty of beverages. The 'tapping of the first keg' is the ceremony that officially starts it, and the parade is the highlight of the week. Even outside the Festhalle, there is music, dancing, and all kind of things to see and do. And its an easy 5 minute drive from the campground. Parking is OK on Friday, and gets a bit tight on Saturday, but we have yet to strike out finding parking. Tip: head towards the back side (east) of town. Most people look for parking as soon as they hit town (west side) and those fill up quick.
Food, food and food? *burp* Oh yeah... At the campground we had a pot-luck on Friday that probably set some sort or record for number of different things that can be cooked in a crock pot. Bring a dish, your beverage of choice and your table ware, and sample from what was probably close to 100 different dishes and desserts. On Saturday, we had a catered dinner courtesy of the Mother Ship (Forest River). Dostal catering has been the caterer for every Frogtogerfest and they did it again this year. The food was fantastic, but their Party Potatoes are legendary. They should be their own food group. In town there are couple authentic German restaurants where Schnitzel happens. At the Festalle tent you can get a Pork fritter sandwich the size of a plate, a pretzel the size of a manhole cover, or a bratwurst the size of a... um... very large bratwurst. Needless to say. Nobody's diet got out unscathed.
Weather? This year was perfection. Crisp mornings that had you turning on your heaters to blow the chill out, fading to warm, sunny afternoons. Usually it can be fairly windy, but this year the wind seemed much more tame. Late evening to nighttime cools off again, just about perfect for sitting around a campfire with your friends.
Administration? like most weddings, sporting events and well run apocalypses, you just can't throw something like this together. It takes planning and not a little hard work behind the scenes to bring it all together. Once again, our event Hosts Ron and Amy Benhart (Turbs) did a great job pulling it together. Ron will be the first to say that he couldn't do it without his helpers, and I am privileged to be one of the many who he relies on, but lets be honest, there would be no Frogtoberfest without Ron and Amy. Kudos to you guys, and thanks from all of us.
Hopefully, you people reading this far that have not been to one yet, will start thinking about attending Frogtoberfest 5 in 2018. I'm sure Ron and all his minions will do their best to show everyone why this is the biggest 'member-sponsored' rally on the FROG calendar.

Winners of the custom Frogtoberfest cornhole board raffle. Bill and Judy Fullingim from Broken Arrow Oklahoma. I think we need to make a rule that the winner of the boards HAS to bring them back the next year for the cornhole tournament.
Anyway... congrats to Bill and Judy!

Tim,
Those are some good looking boards! Is that more work from your crew? I think you should give a plug for that work at least once a year when it is delivered. Perhaps even a photo early in the thread to get the juices flowing over the artwork. I know you are not a vendor but is it permissible to credit the the creators?
Hawks! Even Ron has one on his jersey.
