We had yet another overwhelming response to this event - very similar to what we experienced for the cancelled 2020 event. The ticketing for the 50 available sites for this event was sold out in minutes – the initial waiting list was also filled within the hour. We would like to thank everyone for their continued interest in attending this event.

Please rest assured, we worked diligently with the Forest River Owners Group in order to provide fair opportunity to each and every FROG to have the same chance to attend. Whether you were returning to this event from a previous year or this is your first time going to a FROG Rally – you had the same chance at getting a spot, this is as per Forest River rally policy.

With this kind of popularity, there is certain to be some disappointment for those who were unable to get in. We wanted to take a moment and address some of the many questions that we have received following the unexpectedly quick sell-out.
_____________________________________________
Some FAQ’s:

How can ALL of the tickets be sold out? The ticket sales opened at 12:00 and its 12:15!!!

This is a big shock to us as well. We sold out in MINUTES!!!

I was on the site at noon and got an error message that said, “All available tickets are being purchased”, what was happening?

If you experienced a message that stated “All available tickets are being purchased” while trying to register, it was due to the fact that all available tickets had been selected, were already placed in someone’s shopping cart and that person was in the process of entering their payment and personal information.

The start time seemed to start earlier than what had been advertised. How did I miss it?

Tickets sales opened at 12:00 Noon EST. The opening of sales is completely out of our control and is a function of the Event Bee website. The time and date of ticket sales opening has been widely circulated.

I’m on the waitlist. Now what?

With all the available sites on Eventbee sold, you have the option of putting your name on the waitlist. The waitlist will be used to fill any cancellations that might occur right up to the week of the event. In the event of an available spot, we will contact the next person on the waitlist to fill the vacancy. The order of the waitlist is determined by the order in which they were received. When we contact the next person on the waitlist, they will be given 24 hours to respond before we move to the next person on the list. All people adding their name to the waitlist will be added to the email announcements for future events.

Why can’t you just open more sites to accommodate those that would like to attend?

We are currently operating at the absolute total capacity the facilities at the campground can accommodate. We are limited by the available pavilion seating, capabilities of our caterer, and capabilities of our tour vendors. We cannot guarantee the quality of our attendees’ Gettysburg FROG Rally experience if we were to get any larger.

I was unable to get a spot at the rally; can’t I just get a campsite at the campground for that same weekend and attend anyway?

This is in essence “crashing a party”. The rally is limited to 50 sites in order to provide a certain level of quality. Our activities, events, tour offerings and meals are geared to a certain size group. Please respect FROG rally policy stating that only registered attendees may participate in any rally activities.

See you in Gettysburg 2022!
Rob and Stephanie Bazzanella

We’re in. Looking forward to it. It will be our 1st rally, so don’t really know what to expect, but I’m sure it’ll be a blast.

ATTENTION ALL GETTYSBURG FROG RALLY CAMPERS!!!!!!

Please standby for our final announcement…

Well… we have been ending every email and communication with “See you in Gettysburg!”… and oh boy did we ever! We hope that everyone made it safely home (or perhaps, even better, to your next camping destination) and you are settled into a nice spot with A/C after our very hot weekend. We are now on the other side of the rally and we want to thank you all for your strong participation, your high-spirited enthusiasm, and kind words of appreciation. As you can imagine, putting together an event of this size and caliber requires many months of planning and effort, followed by the final weeks of heavy work to execute it. It is truly gratifying to both of us when this event goes off without a hitch and the participants have a fantastic experience and, furthermore, are eagerly looking to do it again!!

Thank you to our amazing FROG team - without them, the Gettysburg FROG rally could never happen. They are a group of volunteers who dig in wholeheartedly… with only the benefit of getting a bright yellow shirt. They worked so seamlessly as a team that you would never know that we haven't executed this rally together since 2019! Our mission was that each of you have the opportunity to get to know each of them at some point… Maybe it was asking a question, be counted on the bus, or to be led around the Poker Crawl stations… We truly hope that our group of friends have become your friends. Our deepest gratitude to these amazing FROGers:

Russ and Elva (and Natalia!) – First Aid Talks, Arts and Crafts, Logistics
Fred and Kim – Desserts, Movie Night, Logistics
Hank and Barbara – Poker Crawl, Logistics
Steve and Roe – Fire Safety, Logistics
Mark and Tiffany (and Eleanor!) – Photographers, Communications, Logistics
Barb – Bingo Host, Logistics
Sophia and Amelia – Registration, Kids Crafts, Logistics - We are so incredibly proud of both of our daughters... they have grown up having this rally be part of our family adventures and officially joined the rally team this year. They knock out any task at hand and are nothing less than an extension of us. We love you both!

A huge thank you also to FROG Bob and Mama FROG Cindy of the Forest River Owners Group. Their continuous support for this event and for our entire team is invaluable. They are both gems in the world of Forest River ownership and we are grateful and lucky to have them as friends and mentors. The Forest River Owners Group is our sponsor for this event and we thank that organization for providing our delicious Saturday night barbeque dinner and the FROG logo water bottle (we love our FROG merch!!)

So… please display your site signs… show off your pins and hats… tell everyone you meet about the time you had in Gettysburg!

Don’t forget to view and download all of the pictures from the event… you can find them at the link below. They are free to download, or you can choose to have them printed for a nominal fee.
https://markraybin.passgallery.com/-...burgpa/gallery

Whether this was your first rally or your umpteenth, we hope that you keep in touch with the new friends that you met there. Please feel free to keep in touch with us as well, as we hope to someday –

See you AGAIN in Gettysburg!
Rob and Stephanie Bazzanella
