Dry Camping Near Buffalo NY

My husband and I are traveling from WI to the Adirondacks today. We'll be on the I-90 corridor in NY and hope to get to the Buffalo area the tonight. Anyone know a good, legit place in that area to dry camp? Some sites have suggested a Flying J in Pembroke. We don't want to break any rules or make the truck drivers mad by parking in their territory. Any advice you can give ASAP would be appreciated!

Does it for sure allow dry camping? We called a couple stores when traveling thru there a couple years ago and they all said no due to ordinances. Not sure one of them was in Hamburg tho....

Found this location in Hamburg.....a suburb of Buffalo that has RV parking on the property.

Check with staff upon arrival. Follow the RV etiquette for staying there. Leave it cleaner than when you arrived.....no noise between 10pm and 7am.

Rest stop / service place in Angola has 20 spots. Further up the road in Eden another rest stop with 5 spots.

I don’t know the area, sorry. But, times like this I would check freecampsites.net and my Allstays Camp & RV (only $10 I’ve ever spent on an app).

Maybe also check Campendium.com and set the price filter to “free”.

I’m sure you’re settled in already, but there’s a Camping World in Hamburg that allows overnights.
