Champion Generators

2000 Watt Inverter Generator
Model Number: 73536i

I've been reading up on this and it looks good on paper, but does anyone have or seen one in action, the numbers look comparable with much more expensive models
2000 max watts
12V DC battery charging cable
Up to 9.5 hours of run time at 25% load
Quiet – 53 dBA
Lightweight – 49 lb. (*net)
2 year limited warranty

Any input would be appreciated thanks.

53 DB is a good sound reading; that's important for you and everyone else. Is that under load?

Typically generators don't see tons of hours; unless you are using it regularly for non-camping uses. I would think you would be fine with this model. It should last you for years if properly cared for. Good luck!

there are tons of info on this generator on the Internet.

RV.net's Tech Issues Forum has thread about it, that is hundreds of pages long.

there are tons of YouTube videos on it, some comparing it to the Honda 2000.

basically, made in China but from an American company that has great customer support.
has parallel-capability but has a little less power than the Honda 2000 in real world testing.

has been sold in some Costco and Sam's Club stores.

if you really want to learn more about them, read through the RV.net thread about them:

I don't have that model, but I do have a Champion generator. Works fine. Quieter than our lawn mower. I believe this generator should do well.
