Dual fuel generator

Costco has a dual fuel generator on sale. Probably a bit too late to get this because the sale ends today, but I'd never heard of a dual propane/gas generator so I thought I'd share.

They've actually become somewhat popular.

Pro's:
Fuel burns cleaner and less "stink" from the exhaust
If you want you can connect them to your onboard LPG supply (outside kitchen or bbq outlet)
Most run about 15 hours on a 20# cylinder which makes for a "no wake up and refuel the generator in the middle of the night" run time.
The regulator used to feed the Propane into the engine adjusts for altitude so no re-jetting required. Also more efficient at altitude so engine runs smoother, especially when on "Eco Mode" and little power load is being used. Many gasoline engines will "stutter" at low speed as they are running too rich.

Only real downside is they do have a slightly reduced power output due to the LPG having less energy density than gasoline.

FWIW, I love mine and carry two 20# cylinders just for it. Only use generator when solar can't bring batteries up to full charge or when I want to use the microwave. Since generator is mounted on rear bumper I can merely plug in and start on gasoline for the few minutes I want the microwave. For battery charging runs I grab a propane tank and let it run on it.

Champion does. You need 2 3400 or 3500W generators with a parallel kit.

I assume any dual fuel with a parallel kit could support similar.
