our favorite spot has been Prairie Creek State Park. that there are elk living there along with the beautiful Fern Canyon, make it one of the best spots in the area to visit.
you can stop on the beach, near Fern Canyon to do some beachcombing. you'll often see bachelor elks laying on the beach.
the campground has a few sites that are for larger rigs.
the other loops are smaller but we got our 23' HTT into one of them. i've seen other RVs in those sites also, you just have to check on the sizes of the sites there.
there are a number of private RV parks with hookups, within the park.
are you coming down 101 all the way or are you cutting over from I5?
