Tree Frog Concerto

Well boondocking was never really an intention but rather, I suppose, an inevitable result of my lifelong existence.........

I've always worked and lived in wilderness areas of one sort or another - its always where I've felt and thought I should be. Years ago I wanted a profession, a career, a 'job'...... that would keep me as far from civilization as possible and still make a good living and complement (complement not 'compliment') my natural pantheistic philosophy. I've certainly accomplished - surpassed that goal!

OK, ok I'll quit the ramble........tonight at my little piece of boondock heaven its very special: no tv no radio no......well you get it. The moon is FULL!! the woods are dark!! the wind is calm and my campfire is down to the remains of glowing orange embers. About every 5 minutes or so an owl lets loose with owl talk not too far away but most of all is the music; the orchestra of I think EVERY TREE FROG in the woods and they are not being shy at all about their decibel level. Not tonight!

I'll spend all night while I doze off in & out of my wilderness dreams.......and be able to enjoy a Tree Frog Concerto that they inadvertantly share with me......

Thanx...........INTjohn

No full moon tonight that I see as the stars are hidden with cloud cover.......
......and the owl I hear this eve is to the north and quite aways away.

But the tree frogs must be booked here for the weekend as the Tree Frog Concerto is a major leeg ditto from last eve.........
YES!!

Thanx...........INTJohn

I have always loved the "Tree frog concerto" growing up in SW Florida. Sounds like home to me.
