Just got a 2021 Coachmen 192 RBS and tonight closing all the window shades found that the front door has NO SHADE! Clear glass and you can see right in! Is that right? How can that be?
I don't know, but we've got a friend who got one of these to protect the windshield at night and keep the rig private. It has the benefit that if you're parked under a tree and it 'sheds' leaves/sap or if it rains, you have a clean windshield in the morning. https://www.amazon.com/Classic-Acces...50650415&psc=1
Our rig uses a similar one made for our rig by RAM and we love it. No fuss, just privacy.

Brand new Sonic 231VRL here. Mine was the same way except the window in my door had little levers at the top and bottom which made it "thin shade ready":

Hi. I just purchased a FE 192 RBS and realize I am in the same situation. Did you purchase a shade? If so, does it fit? Recommend? If so, would you share the info? So far I'm enjoying the glamping, but still learning. So much I do not know.
My R-Pod also has the "Thin Shade Ready" glass door with no OEM shade. I bought the Lippert Components 786037 and installed upside down so I could look out over it. It is high enough you'd have hard time looking in. Since you can't adjust the shade with the door closed that worked out best for me.

Friends replaced the frosted glass in their rig with clear, to have a shade of sorts, they installed a light weight grab bar made to install onto the screen door on the inside. Then used some fabric as a shade they hang over the bar covering the window when they need it.
Like some of the other posters said, my Freedom Express SE20 came with clear glass. But it too "Thin Shade Ready". Bought the Lippert "Thin Shade", and after the second install attempt, it works fine.

Have the same unit. My door doesn't have a shade but instead window is tinted dark. Have you considered tinting it rather than getting a shade. Tinting is a bit expensive for the roll but should be "way easier" to install. Just my opinion. Your results may differ.
Ours has a frosted glass insert but no tint. We either hang sometime over the door at night, or stick a towel between the two doors to block out the light.
