192RBS bathroom accessories question

Picked up our new 192RBS on Friday. Found the towel holder and toilet paper roll holder in a drawer. Is this normal? Strange they would expect us to mount it. Where should they be mounted? Maybe someone could share a photo or two and some advice on where and how to mount. Thanks!

Yes very normal. We were told this way customers could mount where they want. Too many complained on their placements,

This is the answer to your question about the manufacturer expecting you to install it.

Everybody has their own idea for the perfect placement of these things, so RV manufacturers got smart and left it up to us.

You don't have to use what they ''gave'' you. This one came from Amazon for about 6 bucks. Self adhesive on the back, but I carefully laid out a couple screw holes and thru bolted it with a pair of # 8-32 screws, washers and lock nuts Click image for larger version

Our towel rack was mounted but not the tp holder. I mounted it to the right of the sink next to the door.

I too had to mount my towel ring and TP holder in our 192RBS. Towel ring went above the sink on the right and the TP holder went to the right also but under the height of the counter top. Just make sure you get anchors that expand behind the paneled wall. It's pretty flimsy. We're looking to install a 2ft towel bar on the wall by the toilet for shower towels too.

Geez, thanks. I guess that’s the price we pay for owning an ultra lite.

Paper holder

We mounted the toilet paper holder on the inside of the door below the sink. Nice to have it out of the way until you need it.

Our towel bars are on the inside of the bathroom door. We bought a 2nd one, because we don't like to share.

In our model (different from yours), there was no logical place to mount the tp holder, so I'm happy FR didn't install it for us. I was able to find enough room between the shower stall and the vanity, and that has worked pretty well. It's easy to reach but out of the way. We'd have probably had to fill some holes if the tp holder had been installed at the factory, because the "usual" options were not available to us in this bathroom. Some choose to purchase a tp holder that stands on the floor and can be moved as needed. Lots of choices, and that's part of the fun! Happy camping!

Even very expensive RVs have 1/8" walls, it is a weight issue

There are several great replies here, but let me offer a suggestion on a related item that we found helpful in our 192RBS bathroom: a towel/clothes rack. We went with this item from Bed Bath & Beyond:

https://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/sto...oor-towel-rack

We chose the three hook version. (You actually get six hooks, with each pair on top of the other hook by a few inches.) It fits tightly and neatly over the top of the door, and the color matches the color of our sofa perfectly. It's great to hang a towel, old clothes, and new clothes while we're taking a shower.

I installed similar hooks over the bathroom door, but I used two sets, one for each side of the door. I partially cut the part that goes over the door on one set and installed it directly under the other and added a screw from the top of the door so it isn’t visible. Now we also have a handy coat/hat hook as well.
