192RBS mattress

I'm new here and have finally signed up after 2 years ownership of our 2020 192RBS. Quick question?? Have folks out there replaced their mattress in their 192? We have finally purchased one this past weekend and now I'm a bit concerned with adding to my tongue weight... New mattress is 88lbs, not sure what the stock one weighed? Any comments/experiences appreciated. Thx-Steve

welcome to the forum its a great place to get your questions answered. remember you are not adding 88 lbs you are adding the difference from old to new. I wouldn't worry about it unless you tongue weight is already at max.

Thank You SeaDog! I was going to try and weigh our stock one just to see what the difference will be. No matter what I’m sure we are in for a more comfortable sleep!! -Steve

I agree with SeaDog.

We have a 2021 192 RBS. Kept the original mattress and added a foam top. The original is a full size queen. Wouldn't think there's much difference in weigh unless you got something bizarre like an adjustable bed that lifts your head and feet. But that would be a whole different set of issues.

192RBS mattress

It actually ended up being a net difference of 63lbs. Stock mattress weighed in at 25 and out new one weighs 88. What do you all think? Still OK?

At the end of the day you just have to stay under the payload for your tow vehicle; the choice is personal how you get there. I just added a queen mattress that weighs over 100 lbs. Wasn’t happy about adding this much weight, but a good night’s rest is worth it. I’m still under payload limit but have to be careful about where I add weight to the RV in the future.
