2021 Coachmen Apex Ultra Lite 293RLDS ?

Hi everyone. I've been looking at new trailers recently and I'm pretty much settled on the Apex 293RLDS. I've searched the forums and the internet on this one and really have not found much info. Does anyone own one / what is your opinion on them? Good, bad, like, dislike?

In the last 6 months I've been on the Coachman forum, people talk about Apex Nanos, but only a few posts on Ultralites and several of those are mine (I have a 265RBSS and we love it.

We own a 2017 Apex 269RBKS (no longer available). But we love it. If I was to trade, it would be for this model.

IMO, Apex is the biggest bang for the RV buck!

Anyone know anything about the winegard antenna and add on box? Do they work?

My Apex 288 came factory installed with the Wingard TV antenna. Are you referring to that or the wi-fi booster/4G internet add on for the antenna?

I think both. The antenna works with wifi and 4g IF you add the box. How does the box and antenna work together?

I added the 4G/ WiFi booster box. The 4G/LTE works good, the WiFi booster is just so-so.

Coachmen Apex Ultra Lite 293RLDS

My wife and I bought a Coachmen Apex Ultra Lite 293RLDS in March 2020. We absolutely love the 293RLDS. We had been looking at travel trailers for several years...and when we saw 293RLDS...we bought it on the spot. You cannot beat the interior space and layout given the UVW of 6440lbs, the GVWR of 7800lbs, and an almost 30 ft trailer. This trailer has a dinette, two recliners, and a sofa. The island kitchen is wonderful and provides more storage. Plus there is a bedroom wardrobe closet (in addition to the two closets by the bed). We have had no serious issues...but like so many people have said...carry a few tools to address minor issues.

We just purchased a '21 Apex Ultra Lite 253RLS last week. First trip this weekend! I've already discovered that the frame less windows aren't going to be much help in the Florida heat as they don't open very much at all. I have a couple of 12V fans for non electric camping so we shall see!

new apex 293RLDS. small fridge

We just pulled the trigger on a new 293RLDS yesterday but won't be able to get it for months as they are on order. I think I like everything about it EXCEPT for the very small fridge and no option for a larger one. Our current trailer has a 10cf all electric and it will be a big adjustment to go down to a 6cf. Has anyone out there swapped the fridge out for a larger model?
