We can hardly stand the jackknife sofa. Has anyone removed the sofa and put a pair of recliners?

If not then I’m still going to remove the sofa and replace it with a window box that the dogs can sleep on. Then I’ll remove the dinette, we don’t use it anyway, and put a pair in there. Yes I know about the water heater and pump, I can modify that space and recover around 7 inches.

We are a pair of retired people with 2 small dogs that want to travel. Or grand children are too young to go with us and we couldn’t keep up with them if we tried. I have back and arthritis issues and my pretty better half also has back issues. She can go a bit with them but not all day.

There are allot of articles about removing sofas and replacing with recliners try the library or the search function at the top right of the page. Something to consider when removing a dinette is the loss of storage under the seats if your rig has that.
