310BHDS - ball and frame size

Hi, We're ordering a Freedom Express 310BHDS from out of the area as there is no dealer nearby that has what we want.

Likely getting an Andersen WD hitch, and need to know what ball size and frame rail size this TT has.

Looked online but couldn't find these specifics, want to pick up the Andersen before we go get the trailer.

Thanks.

I submit a contact form on Coachmen's website last week and haven't heard back from there either. Am I asking a stupid question?

This is our first TT. I've towed utility trailers where the hitch ball is usually 2" but can be 2-5/16" as well, and I see Andersen has the same options so I am curious about the TT. Should I assume TT's are all 2" standard?

As for the frame rail size, Andersen sells different brackets from 3"-4", 4-3/8", 5"-6", and 8".

Thanks.

We pick our 310bhds up next Saturday (11th) from dealer. If you don't have a good answer by then I'll let you know.

Thanks Dave, makes sense on the ball size.
srderby - that would be great, havent had a chance to get to a dealer to measure the rail on a similar unit yet.
We're hoping ours arrives the first or second week of May. Can't wait.

I own a Freedom Express Liberty Edition and the ball size is a 2 5/16. make sure you get a ball that is rated at least 10 thousand LBS. when our is all packed up for a trip the unit weighs around 8500 LBS. enjoy you new trailer, all the room is great.
