About a 1/2 ton pu as a toad

Anyone pulling a standard 1/2 ton pickup with your C class? The units I'm looking at are a 27' Ford 450 chassis Coachmen, 26 rs, 7,500 tow capacity, pu is 5,200 lbs. so I know on paper it should be ok, but wanted some real world feed back how rig behaves. I know lighter is better but trying to avoid buying another toad if possible. Thanks in advance

While I can’t remember it being a class C or Class A. I have seen several full sized trucks to include a Ram 3500 with a Cummins pretty sure that one was behind a Class A. Might see if there is a dedicated Coachman forum to to widen your opportunity

Just because the hitch is rated for 7500lbs, doesn't mean the Motorhome is rated to tow that much. Is the hitch receiver factory or aftermarket?

I have seen it often behind a Class A not sure that I have seen a full size pickup behind a Class C.

Am following this thread too to see where it goes......

Factory installed hitch, their rating, pkup would be less than 80% of rated capacity. Gcwr is 20k per mfg of Rv, pulls my 4500 lb wrangler well, though its mainly been on flat land
