Adding air to Nitrogen filled tires (292BHDS)
My Coachmen Freedom Express 292BHDS came from the dealership with nitrogen fliled tires.
If they get low, can I add regular air to them? Or do i have to find someplace that can add Nitrogen? What are my options?

I add air to mine. The nitrogen, I believe has a larger molecule size and is not supposed to leak as readily. I also believe that nitrogen is less affected by temperature. We used it to pressure test air conditioning system before the first fill if we were using a hand made lineset.

Air is 78% nitrogen so no issue to put air in a nitrogen tire.
And now I will sit back a watch this thread explode into an AIR vs Nitrogen debate.

Here goes the can of worms again...
General consensus is that its (mostly) of no benefit so don't worry that you can't find it when you really need to increase inflation. True that its not supposed to permeate out through the rubber as fast due to the larger molecule but air is 78% nitrogen too. If you're not checking pressures before every pull, you're living on borrowed time anyway no matter what you use. Any interior degradation due to oxygen in air is negligible and you've got to replace your tires long before that could possibly be an issue - they'll rot due to the air/UV on the outside long before (ozone is the biggest enemy of rubber).
The benefit to you in the A/C trade is probably that it is dry (very low moisture-carrying capability) so you're not contaminating a system right off the bat.

Just put regular Air in it and move on. Wouldn't make a project out of filling up tires to proper air pressure.

That shouldn't be a project, it should be a religion!

Thanks all!
It seemed that it would be ridiculous if I COULDN'T just add regular air, but this nitrogen thing is new to me, so I wasn't positive!
It's been parked since the end of July, and we're taking it on a trip in 2 weeks, so I wanted to make sure I could top off the tires if needed.

Xenon? Has the added benefit of glowing pretty colors if you electrify it too.

Set pressure with whatever compressor you have handy and get out and enjoy!

You could use nitrous oxide. You get the best of both elements, and have the added benefit of hearing your tires laugh as you drive.

Why don't we just foam fill them( like wheel barrow tires) and never have to worry about filling again.

I prefer acetylene, if you run out of fire starters just pop the valve stem and POOF!! You've got instant heat!

My old GF(long story) worked with a guy who was simple. He did janitorial work at a bank. Each time he got gas...he added air...just in case. One day a worker at the station said...are you sure you need air? Did you check it? He said...naw I just add some in case. They checked the tires and he had like 80 psi in 70's ford 1/2 ton.
