Any Chapparal 25IKS 5W owners?

Just checked one of these out and it is very interesting. If I move up from my TT it would be to something like this. Any reviews? If so, what are you towing it with? Thanks.

Bought a 2014 25IKS in October, 2014. Have put about 6000 miles on it since then.
We are full timers, so have about 4 months experience.
WE REALLY LIKE THE FLOOR PLAN.


I tow it with a 2014 Chevrolet 2500 crew cab, 6.0 V8 gas engine, 6 speed automatic, 4.10 rear end.


My 5er weighs 8000 lb dry, so with all our stuff its slightly over 9000 going down the road.


I am a conservative guys, and a number cruncher, so, my recommendation is do not try to pull this with a half-ton truck, you will be over weight on axles, max towing, or something else.


I could go into more details, but the truck I have is close to max on several ratings.
its fine, but you know there is 9000 labs back there.


PS - check out the Anderson 5th wheel hitch, several hundred pounds lighter and $500 or more cheaper.

Thanks for the response. I am upgrading my truck right now to a Ram 2500 with 6.4l/4.10 combo to pull something bigger in the future. I am a numbers guy also and this unit appears to fall very comfortably within my new trucks range. I have looked at a lot of 5ers and also liked this floor plan and features the best.
