Congrats! Cant wait to get my apex out this year for its 1st ever trip! There probably is a brass block underneath the camper where you can run a propain hose off of. I did it on my 288bhs with quick connects and modded my webber to a quick connect.

KS56 any problem getting slide out or in when you just pull over for a break? We are in our 70's, so want access to the inside during a stop, even if location is not perfectly level.

We have not needed to pull over for a break and operate the slide out, since we prefer to use rest-stop bathroom facilities.
If you do need to operate the slide out during a stop, I recommend that you extend it out completely in order not to desynchronise the mechanism. This should work well even if your rig is not perfectly level.

Thanks. Had our PDI yesterday and found the metal frame on the outside of the slide had been damaged. Looks like someone put the slide out and ran into some obstacle that bent the sheet metal flange about half way up.
Do you have a slide topper on your unit? Thinking of doing that before we take possession.

You are not off to a good start, hope you have a good dealer to address you issues….

We do not have the slide topper.
We bought a 4ft folding ladder that I store in the pass-through compartment. I use the ladder and a broom to sweep off the top of the slide-out before retracting it when leaving the campground. Works well for us.

The slide topper in my opinion, is just something else that needs to be taken care of. Like to keep things simple.
