Apex 239RBS
Just purchased a 2015 Apex 239RBS and am about to go camping for the first time in this camper. Was interested in getting any pros and cons from others who own this line of campers.

We have the 2016 version of the same model. After having popup and hybrid styles of campers before this, my only complaint would be ventilation, you just don't get much air movement. If yours has the frameless windows that crank open at the bottom, you can remove the plastic stops that allow the windows to only open so far giving you the ability to open the windows more.
Ours came with a cheesy vent/fan in the bathroom that is basically there to vent the bathroom, so I am planning on adding a fantastic vent over the bed to get better air movement (as soon as I get the courage to cut a hole in the roof ).

We have owned a 2018 249 RBS for over a year now and love it. We have had no major problems and the floor plan works great for us.

Have had our 2018 Apex 249 since late Oct. Our 5th trailer. We camp once a month for 7-10 days, year-round.
Every time we've taken this camper out, it has gone back to the dealer the day after we get home. Don't even bother unhooking.
Too many issues to list here, most on FR, but some on the components they use. Last trip, the end cap on the slide topper snapped off during deployment.
Not sure we will be able to afford this camper when the warranty wears off.

I was not aware that Coachmen offered a slide topper as an option for the Apex line? Are you sure it wasn't dealer installed?
Sorry to hear you're having problems with your Apex. We have had our unit for 2 years and really like it. It did have a few problems, but all was taken care of by the dealer and all was under warranty.

Thanks for the responses. We've taken three trips so far, and even in the Alabama heat we couldn't be happier in our 239RBS. May have problems in the future, but extremely pleased so far - especially with the floorplan.

Yes, it was dealer installed. Didn't mean to imply otherwise. No, it was not a component provided by FR. Not a good example on my part. Sorry. That was just the latest incident in 9 months of other problems that did come from the factory.
