2020 Apex 300BHS repair delays

I wanted to see if anybody else is having issues getting repairs done on your rigs?
We purchased back in April and took a 5000 mile trip. So we’re having loose trim, cosmetics and a few other things done. Can’t seem to get parts in b/c of COVID. It’s been at the dealer since we got back from our trip back in July.

Have you checked with FR parts department, regarding the delay of parts? Many dealers use this as an excuse for not doing warranty work. Many find out that the dealer hasn't even submitted a parts request yet.

I’ve been to the dealer twice now since July for warranty work. Each time I had several issues and it took them 1 week for completion both times.

Yep. Submitted paperwork in Jul. I have copies. I’ve had direct email contact initially with The national service manager. But lately no communication. Dealer here in Georgia is frustrated and so am I. I understand the COVID supply issues but this is getting ridiculous. I have asked for an extension to my factory warranty.

Clarification. Warranty work has been approved in Aug. Just no parts delivery estimate.

There is a problem on anything coming out of China. They basically shut done the country for 3 months. It is the same w/ home lighting fixtures, appliances, plumbing fixtures. OOPs, I almost defended the dealer. I would still call Forrest River for verification parts were ordered. I have had better experience w/ an independent repair facility. They put me in a Q-ing line and call me several days before they are ready and have the parts. That way my trailer does not sit out in the TX sun for 6 weeks before they start the repair. I also have my trailer back with in several days, and back to covered storage.
