Apex Nano 186BH Floorplan oddity

I went to look at a new old stock 2023 Nano 186BH which is a great fit for my needs.

However, I noticed something strange when I went to see it in person that I missed at first glance on photos.

There seems to be an option that isn't clearly listed on Coachmen's website where you get a Murphy bed / sofa OR simply a "Murphy bed" and no sofa, but a flatter hidden storage compartment.

Floor plan diagram (same for 2023 and 2024 MY)

What I'd expect to see:

What I did see. A 2023 with no Sofa. Notice the cabinetry base is different. It's not just missing cushions.

My question to the knowledge base here is this: are "options" like this common from Coachmen, or travel trailer makers in general? Or is this some weird commonly reproduced factory flaw? Will Coachmen send the correct wood and cushion parts to complete the Sofa to my dealer if I agree to purchase?

This was sort of surprising, as I've been scouring the available content online including 2023, 2024 brochure pdfs and listings for actual units both new and used.

I don't even know if the sofa is an absolute need, but it was a part of the overall package of this model and it sort of feels weird to me without it.

Am I missing something obvious?

Figured it out. My mistake.

I re-read the brochure and website this morning, and found that I simply missed where the Murphy/Sofa is an OPTION.

I think my eyes just couldn't see it due to the floor plan diagram, and all the models I had seen on YouTube videos having the sofa. Also I didn't realize major pieces of furniture might be optional on floorplans.

I learned something!

Glad you figured it out.
There's also small print on the brochures that says models may change at anytime.

Hope you find a rig you like.

You might want to check out the 194bhs. It is very similar in weights and outside dimensions but has a slide which really opens up the inside. It also has a standard residential queen mattress which makes replacement and purchase of bed linens much easier. Also, with the kitchen in the right side instead of left, coordination while using inside and outside kitchen is much easier
