Apex Nano 193BHS pricing

Hello everyone! We are hoping to purchase our first TT this fall. We’ve settled on the Apex Nano 193BHS after looking through a TON of different models. Our local dealer is asking $18,989 for a 2019. We are thinking that is pretty high compared to similar models, but we’re really not sure what the thing is actually worth. MSRP listed on their site is $25,396, so their asking price is around 25% off. Would anyone care to share what you actually paid for a new 193BHS recently, and where you purchased it? We’re in northern CA, but willing to drive to surrounding states for a good deal.

Is there a reason this model is a little pricier than something similar from say Keystone, Starcraft, or Coleman? From the research we've done most people say RVs are all similar quality, but are there really quality differences that increase the price?

You're rarely going to get a lot off MSRP, since all those brands are manufactured in the Midwest.
West Coast dealers jack up their prices cause they know most of us won't drive to the Midwest to get cheaper prices.

The dealer that I use is located in Pennsylvania and they list the 193BHS for $15,995.00 with an MSRP of $23,788.75

My Coachemn had a MSRP for $31k and we bought it for $18.9K. The 2018s were just coming out when we bought our 2017.

2018 pricing was MSRP of $19,640 and invoice of $13,545. There were only 4 options available, total under $2k MSRP and under $1.5k invoice.

I would suggest sending emails to dealers in the surrounding area that carry the Apex Nano. Tell them exactly what you want, give them a target price and ask for their best price w/o haggeling. See what you get back. What have you got to loose? From my experience, dealers with greater volume on the brand you want will have the best factory incentives and MAY offer the lowest price.

So I could probably expect my local dealer to have a little wiggle room on their asking price. Maybe not much since they've had to ship it to the west coast already.

We purchased a 191 RBS last fall and it was delivered in the spring. We did a great deal of research and saw a lot of different trailers. We also went to 2 RV shows. Yes we saw trailers that were nearly $10,000 lower than ours but you could see they were cheaply built. We wanted something that was going to last and that we would enjoy. Coachmen really did tick all the boxes for us. We have been out 4 times now and couldn't be happier.

I should also mention that the Canadian prices are way higher !

Shipping costs are minimal on small TT's that can be transported on a large flatbed trailer. And all west coast dealers will have pretty much the same expense. High volume dealers have better purchasing power, but since you can't really know which dealer sells the most Nano's, shop multiple dealers to find the best price.

Www.rvtrader.com is your friend. You can plug in your zip code and miles from OR state along with the model you seek and find out what others are asking for that particular RV.
I did that for mine and found the closest I could look at one and the cheapest price, NOT the same dealer. Closest was about 45 miles south, in state. Cheapest was 150 miles away in another state. Save $1400 on the TT and $300 on the WDH (used, installed vice new installed at the more $$ place.

We just signed to purchase a 193BHS this weekend. It has all of the available options, with an MSRP of 22,932 we are paying 16,488 from AC Nelson in Omaha, NE.

Unfortunately our closest local dealer is the only one within 400 miles with this particular model, at least on that site. We have found a few others that have them within 500-600 miles through Coachmen's dealer locator. But wow, their dealer locator on their site is awful, and I have to check each one to make sure they have the particular model. It's been really hard to make comparisons. It almost seems intentional.

Thanks for the insight! I wasn't aware they could ship them on a flatbed, but that makes sense for these smaller ones.

We got our 2018 last October and paid 14,160 for it. We drove 5.5 hours each way bc we saved around 2k (if I remember right). We also had a hard time finding one in stock within 2 hours of our home (Wisconsin). Not sure what is meant by 'options' on this model....

Good Luck!! I searched high and low but options we wanted was: 1. as short as possible for the options we want (bc we park our camper in our garage) 2. queen bed 3. bathroom sink 4. full fridge (not under the counter). We had found others that were close but most were poor quality :-(

Interesting..... just went back thru Youtube videos again (haven't since the fall) and came across a video of a '2018' model that has a front window (over the queen bed) and also at least one of the dinette seats has a cabinet door on it. What's funny about it is our camper is a 2018 and we got it mid-October. It had neither of these options so they must have changed that after our delivery. Looks like the camper still has the dang awning issue though bc if you watch the video the awning is not out all the way.....

Dinette door would have been nice.... not sure about the 3rd window (one on both sides seems like plenty)....

MSRP on my 2018 Apex 249, with Summit and Elite packages, was 34k, and we got it for 21k. But who knows if that was the real MSRP?

We currently live in Salt Lake City. Was working a deal on a 2018 Apex Nano 193bhs (front window, cabinet door in the dinnette), MSRP was $24k+ freight, ttt. Got them down to $19k+ ttt. Then found a 2017 trade in to a dealer in Indiola Iowa on RVT.com. they we advertising $13k for local trade (previous owner thought the grandkids would go with more often, but didn't so they traded). Anyway, ended up paying $12,200 cash. Problem was it was 1,000 miles away. Ended up hiring a kid to deliver for $1,300. Still came out way ahead then purchasing local.
