APEX NANO 208BHS water tank sagging...

Hey all,

Have had the apex nano 208bhs for about 6 months now and love it. I knew that the water tank supports are a bit of an achilles heel.. and considered just prophylactically modifying/bulking them up. But stuff came up and.. you know.. just never happened.

Since we mostly do harvest hosts and boondocking we usually leave the house with full water tank. I noticed that I have progressively worsening tank sag (see pic). It's pot-bellied and I'm worried that those supports are going to break and tank will just fall out of camper.

I saw a mod online where they jacked the tank up and placed beefed up supports under it. Anyone here done this?

This is all complicated by the fact that I can't see the tank because of the black protective cover that covers the bottom of the camper. I thought it would be easy to remove that to get access but after backing out some of the screws holding it up it seems to be glued on or something.

Anyone have any tips on how best to remove that cover to get access to the tank, AND any words of wisdom on how to best bulk up the support of the tank?

Thanks.

Brad
