Battery question

Again I have a 321 fedsle. The battery drains even with the breakers off. Should I install a cutoff? Or am I missing something?

I'm not sure with your rig, but our 12v system through-out our trailer uses fuses, not breakers. Breakers are on the 110v side. So you still may have some 12v items like radios, smoke/CO detectors, etc that are still draining power.

Thanks. I think I'll just install a cut off. Why they don't do this right off is beyond me.

Many units have cut-off switches.
We've had dozens of reports here where folks had no clue they had them or where they were.
Are you sure yours doesn't?

Battery question

I also have the 321fedsle and we initially had an issue with the battery going dead, but found that the dealer didn't tighten the cable to the post. As standard practice, even with our previous camper, we remove the negative cable from the battery post between trips and never have an issue.

Also, I asked the dealer when we picked ours up in March if this model has the battery shut off and it does not.

battery

Cutting off the battery or simply removing the negative lead shuts of all the mandatory parasitic drain: the co, propane and any other alarms, as well as the one some forget about, the fridge. As stated also check your connector tightness at the posts, and make sure (if this is a flooded battery), to check water levels and fill with distilled water only.
Inspect the battery as well, if it is covered with that sort of dirty, wet mess on top, that also bleeds off power as a mild short.

Keep the trailer plugged in if you can.
