I’d recommend doing a topper vs new mattress. We got some on sale and cut them to size in our 2509s, but we bought one from Brooklyn beddings affiliate that does toppers for the main bed. That one is incredible, but we paid a lot more for it.
I bought via Amazon the Zinus foam mattress in RV bunk size. Very comfortable. 8” thick IIRC. Under $200. Only needed one since I pulled out the upper bunk.
