Camco cover on suburban range top ?

I prob know the answer...but, in trying to fit the "once size fits all" cover to my Suburban range, I find that there's just too little space between rear of the range top and the rear wall for the cover to "fold" open (Photo shows as far as it will go, and it's likely to dig into the rear wall at that). I know that some folks just don't screw them down, and just remove and set aside when all burners are needed...but, I have little space for "setting stuff" and would really love to make this thing work "as advertised". Any suggestions or innovations appreciated. If no solution, might there be an actual Suburban cover that would fit & function? Thanks! Mc

Have you considered moving the cover so that it is covering more of the front of the stove and giving you some rear space. It might overhang a little but would fold all the way up and allow the rear burners to be used.

Thanks -- yes, I'd looked at it, but with the hinge at rear it can't be moved forward without cutting the rear section out completely. With that done it couldn't be attached to "hinge" up/back (or, forward, for that matter). If I had just 1/2" to 3/4" more space at rear it would work perfectly. ...looks like I just bought one that won't work on my RV, so just need to bite bullet and order the OEM cover that actually fits & appears to be designed to fold up/back with the limited space. 'preciate the observation & suggestion, in any event! Mc
