Catalina 303RLS Shower Door

In a previous topic the shower door was "dis-cussed". Mine wouldn't open very far because ir hit the toilet. Someone said there's opened the other way. I just spent 4 hours flipping my door. You have to remove door frame, disassemble, drill new bushing holes, change out the thumb knob, reassemble, and re caulk. If you aren't really good fixing things, don't attempt. The door frame has to interlock on both sides and is a job getting back together.

After taking a break and going back in and trying out the shower door, it was worth the effort. The door swings open all the way to the bathroom door. Complete access to shower.

shower door

I was one that asked about the shower door. I hate mine and put a curtain in the hall and leave the bathroom door open. It works but I may try your method.

Do you have any pictures that may help? I think I'm gonna try it. Thanks for the note. Glad it worked out for you.
Congratulations.

Awesome that you were able to switch it! I would have done the same thing if mine had been that way!

The frame itself has to remain in the same position. Measure, mark and drill holes for bushings on opposite side. The very small lip on the uprights has to go in first. I used slip joint pliers to pull the inside flange together. It would really help to have two people to hold, squeeze, push, and screw back together. Good luck. It will be worth the effort.

You have to take the top rail off to drill.
