Coachmen 370FL pin box

Is Lippert 1621 pin box is the standard pin box style on most 5th wheels? I am new to 5th wheels, and I was offered a Rota-Flex pin box, and it fits a Lipper 1621 pin box. Thanks.

That is one of the most popular. Usually the model is either stamped into the metal or is on a sticker. Or you can take some measurements and compare to this chart: https://www.etrailer.com/faq-measuri...l-pin-box.aspx

We don't have our 5th wheel yet, so I don't know what is on the metal. I might go look at a very similar model and see what I can find out. Thank you.

You could also call the dealer or the manufacturer tech support line for info.

I did call our dealer - they didn't know without researching it.

The 1621 can be different weight capacities. My OEM one on my Wildcat was rated 12000 lbs. I switched it for a Moryde RPB rated 16000 lbs. Both the OEM and the replacement are Lippert 1621 compatible.

So if the one you are being offered has at least the same or better weight rating you should be ok.
