Coachmen Rally

Did a quick search and didn't find anything so I thought I'd ask. Anyone going to the Rally in June? Just sent mine in, and added the trip to the Studebaker tour. Being a car guy I couldn't turn it down. Going it alone as the wife can't get off from work, but she told me to go anyway. This will be my fourth rally. Looking forward to it.

Not sure what day I'll arrive, since it's only about 5 hours or so probably depends on which day I leave. Only 170? seems like it keeps getting smaller. Our first rally there was somewhere's in the neighborhood of 600. 2006 was our last rally so I'm excited to get time off to go this year.

Had already planned a month long 'excursion' with our granddaughter during that time....so not this year.

Would have loved to make the June rally, but work was in the way. Will be at the August FROG rally though.

Looks like I'll be pulling in on Saturday afternoon sometime. I'll be easy to spot, probably the only dodge with a wing on top.

We won't be there until Sunday. We are coming directly from another rally, our Goldwing Touring Association Michigan State Rally.

I'm here. First tour was of Goshen....missed a turn and got a small tour of town. Backed against the river, and railroad tracks.

It was very nice meeting you Ken.

Ended up going home with a new Trail Air Tri-Glide. It provides a better ride than our previous Trail-Air only.

It was great meeting both you and your wife. And your cool dog. You had mentioned that the trail air did a good job at the up and down, did the tri glide get rid of your chucking also? Going to do something here soon, was thinking of the Mor/ryde and air bags on the truck. Now thinking I can get it all in one package with the tri glide.

The new Tri-Glide does help. Does it make it perfect? No. But I would say it cut down 75% of the chucking, and made the remaining, much easier to stomach.

Keep in mind, our chucking was very bad at times.

If I were to do it all over again, and had a choice in our original pin box, based on what people have said, I would have gone with a Mor/ryde combined with a very expensive air hitch.

But for $1150 installed, the Tri-glide was pretty darn good. I think we are done modifying (that part anyway). They also threw in never fail bushings for free, that we paid them $50 to install. Good day all in all.
