Coachmen Spirit Motion Lights on all the time

Hi, Just purchased 2021 Coachmen Spirit 2454BH. It has motion sensor lights at the foot of the bed, under the bed, bathroom and 1 in the pass through storage. They all go on and off all the time. I even taped over the sensor in the storage compartment and it still turns on and off. First night in the camper and the ones in the bedroom on and off while in bed. Even the bathroom one I could see the light from it and we were at the far other end.

So I have found many threads on here with people saying they have the same issue. What I have not seen is if anyone solved it other than removing it.

I have found they sell them on Amazon with ok reviews but many of them mention lights coming on and off all the time.

I had the same problem, but taping over the sensor at the foot of the bed worked. I also have one under the bed and it comes on frequently. I did buy the same fixture on Amazon, except with a blue light. Haven't installed them.

Solved this pesky issue today by performing vasectomies on all our motion detection lights. Problem SOLVED.

Does that mean you simply cut the power to them? After purchasing the the blue LED version from Amazon only to have them do the same thing I have now returned those and cut power to the ones in the bedroom.

Before going to the trouble of installing the blue ones in the camper I connected them to a 12v wall wart and left them on in the garage for half a day. Checking them regularly. They were never on once unless I moved in front of them. In the camper though they just keep coming on and off.

Yes, I just cut the power to each light. Even covering with black electrical tape did not solve the issue.

our 2021 has had the same issue. Tape didn't solve the issue. I clipped the wire on the one at the foot of the bed since the dog sleeps there. On the one in the bath and under the bed, I wired in this switch available easily on Amazon
