Dangling line

Just purchase this 2016 Coachman Catalina 263rl. This cable to the slide out hangs down does anyone know how or where it should be?

It should be parallel to the floor in a "C" shape when closed and straight when open.

Thanks, I just can’t find how it’s supported so it doesn’t hang down.

its designed to hang down .tight when out. low branches are a culprit, but mine never got hung up just let it dangle .tighten it up and it will pull the wires in half.

You will probably find that the strap has broke on one end or the other. I ordered one from eTrailer and installed using tie wraps instead of the loops (don’t have to disconnect wires)

Not designed to hang down. It should stay up in slide when extended or retracted. The strap is broke on one end…

Got any photos when your slide is extended?
It appears to be a cradle strap for some electrical wires to feed whatever in your slide out….
Probably 12 volt…..maybe 120 volt. Can’t tell from the wires in the photo for sure.

Thanks for all the replies, does anyone have pictures of the way it’s supposed to be connected?

I see now, the strap broke at the trailer end and has been zip tied.

If you don’t get any photos here, it might be worth searching for your trailer on a place like RV Trader, see if their is any private sellers who could do you a favor of getting photos of it, or maybe a dealer sales rep with some compassion. Maybe something on YouTube another owner has posted.

Good Luck!
