Dirty Awning

Hello,
This is my first day here and obviously my first post. We have a 2012 Coachmen and the awning is very dirty on the bottom side. What is the best way to clean it without damaging the awning?

Thanks,

Barry

I use Tilex. Spray it really well then roll it up and let it sit about 15 to 30 minutes then unroll it and take a broom and scrub it a bit, then rinse it off.

I use the same method that Bama noted, awning looks brand new afterwards.

X?? then I used a swiffer type pad on the floor mop/sweeper deal(flat rectangular) and rinsed. Worked great.

Soft bristle reach brush, mine is a boat brush. I use powder Tide with bleach (Dollar General), heavy concentrate. Makes mine pure white, I also use it to clean the rubber roof and them gutters too.

Dirty awning

Hello all,

Thanks for the tip on the Tilex, it works great on cleaning the awning. I had to use 2 doses of Tilex and scrub the 2nd dose.

Thanks once again,

Barry

Glad it worked for you. Sometimes I let ours go a little too long and I have to do a two soak cleaning! Not that I'd ever admit that!

Magic Erasers works great on stubborn stains. Also does well for black streaks....
