Floor Replacement

Hi- first time submitting here. I have a 2010 Wyoming Summit. I am replacing the floor due to water damage. Will 5/8 plywood be a good option? Currently it looks like the cheap 1/8 flooring was used and carpeting was on top of that. Originally carpet was on top but I took that out and will be putting vinyl planking down. This is a stationary trailer and no plans to travel with it. When slides are in, there is an inch in gap between the slide floor and the main floor. Just want to be sure of the size plywood as not to imped the slides coming in. I’m also brand new to trailers and remodeling.
