FRD EXP 195 RBS / water tank not pumping - first fire up brand new

Brand new trailer
.New trailer quirks

last quirk unresolved to go!

City water works great, water heater heating, water pump running, valves i can access under kitchen cabs in right position according to rv tech from dealership.

still no tank water pumping up from tank.
Used a bucket of water from kitchen and it pumps water from winterizing draw point when 2 valves to main line are opened just fine. still no pickup from main tank.
Any Idea's.

My First trailer and although im learning my water system crunch time im stumped and running out of Idea's.
thanks in advance for help

#1....sure tank is "Full" ? I start with obvious stuff first.

#2...Pump is working if it's picking up from the winter port.

#3...I have to say check all your valve positions again.

#4...Can you see where the 12v pump line goes to FW tank ? Our Cherokee had an open belly....so it was easy to see.

Pump does not run if you are on city water.

If the pump draws antifreeze do you have a inline valve to turn to switch back to the water tank?

Thinking same thing. Our old Jayco had a valve right at the pump for pulling from tank or the Antifreeze line.

I'm confused by the reference to "two valves." On the instances I've seen, the antifreeze valve is a single valve which selects which one of two sources (tank, antifreeze jug) the pump will draw from.

On the other hand, when winterizing, you bypass the water heater. This involves changing the position of two valves (or one or three depending on design) on the back of the water heater. Are you certain you are not looking at the water heater bypass valves on the back of the heater? Look at where you are inside the trailer and then walk around to the same point on the outside. If you see a door, about fifteen inches square, with louvers, that's the water heater.

The winterizing valve will be right near the water pump, which you can find by its noise.

i know on mine I have a in-line shut off valve so you donít put antifreeze in your fresh water tank check the water line from the tank to the pump, Iíll bet it is shut off.

pump valves

I have a FE-204rd & there is one valve for the fresh water tank pick up & one valve for the winerization pick up. The tank valve has to be fully open & the winterization tube fully closed, If any air can suck into the winterization pick up, the pump will not suck water from the tank, (from experience)

Took pictures of all valves to dealership tech and it sounds like kink under floorboards between tank and mian line valve. or an air leak in the line somewhere between as well.

Taking trailer back to them for another go thru to insure all is well.

Frustrating when told they went through and checked everything before delivery - But!! I had to upon getting home and testing all systems had to do the following:
1. put hot water heater tank plug back in.
2. access and turn tank bypass valves to open before it would fill tank
3. all lines still had antifreeze int them thick.

Doesnt sound to me like the water system was touched from the factory.

I know techs get busy and then things get forgotten. Im a service manager of a different industry but come on guys, I need honesty from my service people.
Not a good start to a product relationship.

Update to follow when trailer is returned from dealership

thanks for all the helpful advice

It sounds to me like the diverter at the pump for winterizing is in the antifreeze suction position.
