Front LED lights on 192rbs

I noticed when i was washing my trailer, all the LED lights on my 2021 freedom express 19RBS were lose and could be lifted out of their holes with no problem and no doubt has let water in. When i got a hold of the manufacturer they said the rubber grommets probably shrank and to seal them with silicone. I do not know how long they have been like this as this is a new to me trailer( second owner). Has anyone else had the same problem??? how can i make sure that the insulation in the front is dry with no mold without ripping the front out?

Thanks

Yikes. I have not had this problem, but also have not looked for it. (I type this as I look out the window and see it raining- might go check).

If your unit is like mine, I would probably start by looking in the front storage area under that front window as well as the interior wall in that area and seeing if there is discoloration. Not really much else to do. I would probably not tear things up unless I really noticed visible damage.

Moved thread from the General Community Discussion section to the Coachmen sub-forum since the OP's questions are specific to a Coachmen product and not general questions.

Yes good idea to check those lights, especially since they are in the elements all the time. You would think it would be better sealed seeing as it is in the front and basically getting the brunt of the weather.

Cheers

My issue with those front light is that at least one is "burning out" every time I've turned them on. I would just seal them up so no moisture gets in. From my experience; you'll almost never use them for anything constructive.

So checked mine just now. Not necessarily falling out, but not as tight as I would hope. Couldn't see evidence of water intrusion. What has everyone been doing to try to seal these better?
