Hot Water Heater

On first day out had good hot water while on shore power. Next morning water was cold had to switch to propane. First time out with new Catalina.

Try pushing the 2 rubber buttons on the left upper side. It might have tripped the 110v hi limit switch. I think the one on the far left is propane and the other 110v.

If the breaker isn't tripped inside the trailer, your element may have bitten the dust. If it has, make sure you buy the wrench to remove the old one and install the new one. I think they are around $10 or less.

Not really knowing what steps you have taken, here is a FAQ that explains the operation of the common Suburban water heater. You may have the switches in the correct positions already.

Just to be sure, if you used it on electric by turning on the switch on the face of the water heater, you didn't turn it back off by chance and forget about it?
