I need a 6.8 V10 for my 2011 Freelander!

I am still trying to find a 2011 or newer Triton V-10 for my Coachmen Freelander SA31. The engine just blew at 37,000 and had oil changes every spring weather it needed it or not. They say they have timing chain issues... I need a new 6.8 V-10 and everyone is out of stock! I am in Upstate NY and am willing to travel for it.

Have you tried salvage yards? They should be able to locate one.

Copart largest in country to find parts.. No V-10s for RVs

Called many scrap yards and no one has RV V-10's I guess they're different than regular V-10. When I give Vin# they say not compatible!

How badly damaged is the old one? Did you check with machine shops to see if it can be rebuilt?

$5,500 to rebuild. I may go that route.
