Something tells me your upgrading... avatar and signature line both show a travel trailer!

But, most folks with fifth wheels these days opt for different kinds of stabilizers vs the kingpin. Usually a triangulation-type stabilizer like the SteadyFast system (click for my review).

If the RV is indeed new to you, consider trying before buying king pin tri-pod of other stabilizers. You may not need it!

With have a Riverstone and between a robust frame and 6-point auto leveling the trailer is rock solid...even with both tires on 1 side off the ground (seasonal site slopes side to side). Night and day difference from our old entry level TT.
