Kitchen sink draining slowly

Hope y'all can provide some help....

We have a brand new Brookstone 398 MBL and the kitchen sink is not draining. I've taken apart as many of the plumbing fixtures I can get to, and they're all sparking clean.

I did notice a 3rd release valve outside today for "Liquid Waste", could this be for the kitchen area? When we did the initial walk-through, only one grey water tank was mentioned...

welcome to the forum its a great place to get your questions answered. The correct term is dump valve and more then likely it goes to your kitchen area hook up a sewer hose and pull the valve and see if that solves your problem.

Welcome to the forum! I see it is your 1st post.

Yes, many R/Vs have a separate grey tank for the kitchen sink. It is typically called the 'galley' tank. They often (not always) have a separate drain pipe to connect a sewer hose to and sometimes that connection can be many feet away from the sewer drain for the black tank. My brother had a R/V where that galley drain connection was at the very rear of the R/V (rear kitchen) and his other drain connections were near the front.

As SeaDog mentioned, connect your sewer hose to the appropriate drain pipe (or if you only have one) and open the lever you say marked "liquid waste." I have never seen one labeled that way. Often they will say "wastewater" but anything is always possible in today's R/V world.

Glad itís fixed! As to why the dealer didnít know? Thatís pretty much par for the course. When we bought our last one the guy doing the walk through said it didnít have any low point drains! Ha!
