Manuals For My 2016 Apex 215RBK

Hello Everyone,
I sent an e-mail to Coachmen looking for a detailed maintenance manual for my Apex 215RBK. I did receive a prompt response from them which was nice but the answer was that there was no detailed manual. Does anyone out there know of a resource for Manuals. I've tried searching the internet.
Thanks for the help.

Generally, there's such thing as a detailed owners manual anymore, in the RV industry.
Nearly all only provide a generic owners manual.
They aren't even RV type specific.
They only provide basic RV systems info.

You should have manuals for the important items, like fridge, furnace, converter, a/c, water heater and so on.
If you don't, you can go to their manufacturer's website and download them.

Thanks Bikendan
I was hoping to find wiring diagrams and stuff like you would find in a Chilton or Edmonds car manual. Oh well. I appreciate the reply.

You can find those things from Winnebago for at least the motor homes; I've never checked for the travel trailers. Winnebago places all the wiring and plumbing and construction information on their website and it puts nearly every other manufacturer to shame!

Detailed manuals apparently don't exist for most of the RV market anymore. You "might" be able to get them to send you a wiring or plumbing diagram, but after looking in and under most RV's I am not sure the factory even uses them anymore. I had a couple of vintage Airstreams and they came with 2" thick service and maintenance manuals. Have seen anything like it on anything other than custom built RV's since. I make up my own diagrams as I go along if I can't get anything from the manufacturer.

Manuals

If you can find the manufacturer, go to their site and look for servicw and repair. I just bought a Forrest Glen and have the same problem. Look for the manufacturer on the item then look at the manufacturing web site. I also had some luck by going to the Forrest River site and calling for assistance. The dealer was of little help and all he recommended was to look for help on Facebook.

If you did not get a detailed build sheet, ask your dealer for it. It is provided to them from the manufacturer. If you can't get it, take an hour or so and open the access panels etc for all the major appliances ( fridge, furnace, AC etc.) and write down the model number, and serial number for each item. Keep a copy at home and in the RV. If you ever need service, parts or technical assistance, you will need this information.
