Mounted Ladder

I have a 2017 Coachmen Freedom Express 292BDHS and was thinking about mounting a ladder to it and was wondering if anyone had done it. I have a portable ladder I take so I can clean the slide off before bringing it in. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I believe that yours has the fiberglass siding with the "Azdell" under that. Azdell is a plastic product that replaced the thin luan type wood as the backer for the fiberglass. You cannot just put screws into this siding at random. I have the '15 310BHDS and wanted to mount a ladder. I sent an email, obtained from the FR website, along with my VIN # asking about where the aluminum framing or wall studs were located to mount a ladder on the rear of mine. FR sent me back a nice detailed CAD drawing of where they had placed two (2) 2x4 pieces of lumber turned sideways within the back wall. This was for mounting ladders to the unit. Send them your VIN number and they will send you a drawing for your 292BHDS. They are probably the same but I would want the drawing.
