New Apex Nano owner!!

This Saturday I pick up our new 2015 Apex Nano 193BHS! We are super excited, it's been a couple of long months doing research, checking out the forums, etc. This is my first time buying an RV, so it's exciting but also a little scary.

The dealer has camping spots available onsite so we are going to spend our first night there and do a complete check of everything. I have printed multiple checklists so I feel pretty well prepared. I also downloaded the RV checklist app which so far seems really nice and very easy to use.

I am having the dealer install the equilizer WD hitch with sway control, as well as two of those max vents.

Wish me luck!

Congratulations! I'm a new 288BHS owner myself. Got one whole trip under the belt. I'm an expert now!

UmptySquat, what do you think of the Apex so far? What made you go with the Apex?

The nano 193BHS was about the only bunk house under 20', with a slide out, and with enough room at the table for all five of us.

We have an Apex 288 as well, and chose it after comparing nine other similar models. For being so light, it has a very solid feel, good design, and ours is very cleanly constructed, good workmanship. We've experienced no problems to date and are really happy with it.

Congrats we chose our 288 due to a few factors, weight, layout and they just look so cool!
We had only looked online and made the purchase without ever walking through one, but i knew it would work out! I bought 2 others that way!

A lot of the same reasons of the others. Weight and layout were probably the 2 biggest features. The single slide out is a bonus and really opens the floor plan up. It's also a very sharp looking TT!!

I got the anniversary edition too. Well worth the extra $!

Thanks everyone.

We just spent the first night at a local state park for the maiden voyage. Everything has worked great, no issues at all. Once we get it home I'm gonna grab a flashlight and check all compartments for leaks, loose connections, etc.

I love this thing!!! Can't wait to get out again!

Congrats. I'm glad to see someone else with a smallish trailer. We have the 18bh. We love it and have had no issues. Since it's just the 2 of us we use the bunk to hold our luggage. With the smaller trailer we can get into more camping spots. The only thing I would like if we go bigger is ducted air. I do find the roof air is noisy, and we had to use it a lot this summer.

My wife and I have been looking at the 185bh Nano. We have a 2015 Tacoma. I would like to know how they tow. We were originally looking at an R-Pod but are very upset with the current quality problems. We don't even want a slide with all of the Schwintek problems. We would be interested in the quality of the Nano? Anyone have any problems with the EPDM rubber roof?? Thanks for any replies.
