My factory-installed Jensen speakers were not great sounding, but when one blew after 3 years I replaced them with some cheap Boss speakers (mine are 5.25"). For only $35 the difference in sound is amazing! These sound great and for that low price I don't care if they only last another 3 years.

I highly recommend replacing your speakers, even with a cheap alternative like Boss or Pyle.

Thank you, good idea. I have a warranty/deficiency list and will be adding that and at least get the cheap ones replaced if it’s broken already.

You should also look at Kicker speakers! They make waterproof marine speakers with great sound! Have used them on two different pontoon boats with lots of complimentary comments on how good they sounded.
