Over flow lines siphon the fresh water tank dry.
Okay, it's a source of aggravation now. When filling the tank to camp remotely, I fill the tank until I see water hitting the ground. To my surprise, when I got to location, the tank was empty. It happened twice. The first time, I thought I had a senior moment (And, no the tank drain was closed) the second time I saw it flowing when I stopped for ice. The underneath is winterized, so I can't see anything. I put two stop cock valves on the lines (Blue and red) and that prevents the siphoning. However, that can have consequences with pressure building on the tank, if I forget to open during filling. Any real fixes?

You better open when using the pump also. That overflow is actually the tank vent.

You say red and blue? Are you sure that's not low point drains and you are still siphoning out vent

Sorry both lines are blue. And no there is a separate low point drain line for the tank. The dealer stated that those are the vent lines and they will over flow when the tank is full, letting me know the tank has filled

Something is not making sense here
How much water do you put in the tank before the "overflow" starts dripping water? Does it get to 40-50 gallons before it starts? My hose running full blast does about 10 gallons per minute and my overflow indicator that is next to the filler cap will start spitting long before it is full. I suspect that the overflow line has a dip in it that fills with water during filling or driving and it needs to blow the old water out before it starts blowing air when filling from my hose a high speed. The first time I saw this happen I turned off the water fill when it spit and I only had a few gallons of water in the tank.
In order for water to siphon it typically has to be drawn uphill, over the hump, and then below the level of the tank. It also would be putting a big puddle on the ground somewhere that you would see unless you have a basement hot tub it is going into.
There are four fittings on a fresh water tank: Filler inlet (large), a vent hose, a tank drain valve, and a pipe leading to the pump. None of these can siphon - so I am baffled.

I had the some thing happening on my FR3 MH. I drilled a 3/16 hole on top of the vent hose, works great now.

TT is a 2017 ForestRiver Salem Hemisphere 282rk . There are 3 hoses sticking down from the fresh water tank. The one with the shut off valve is the tank drain one would be the overflow tube. What is the 3rd tube for ? When I fill the tank I can put in 44 gals. Then the overflow tube and the 3rd tube leak water , (full). When traveling to the campsite I lose as much as 10 gals. Thru these 2 tubes . Dose any one have a fix for me . This never happened with my other TTs .

Overflow tube
I don't have a TT like yours, but on my 2017 FR3 DS32 I have three line also. One is the fresh water tank drain, one is the city water line drain, and the last is a clear tube that is mounted on top of the fresh water tank for overflows. I drilled a 3/16 hole on the top of the clear hose so that once the fresh water tank is full and water coming out of the overflow tube the air from the hole breaks the siphoning of water. Also my overflow tube has one loop around it, and that's where I drilled my hole on top of the loop before going down to the outside. Hope this helps, if all else fails talk to a tech at your dealership.

You say one is the city water drain . Why would the city water drain have water coming out when I am putting water in the fresh water tank , that makes no sense to me

Overflow tube
When I drain my fresh water tank, I also opened my city water line and some water drained out of if. Why, I have know idea. Maybe it is bleeding over from the fresh water tank. All I know that's what mine did.

Don't think you have a handle on the water lines. Overflow lines are not capped, otherwise what's the point. If the drains are as you say then, either your rig is not plumed correctly or has been modified.

Those appear to be FW tank drain and C/H low point drains.

Bubbles, I start filling and eventually the two lines flow water out, indicating the tank is full. If I don't put the caps on before I start moving, by the time I get to my destination the tank has siphoned out.

Bikendan, Dealer said the two are the over flow tubes. C/H low point vs over flow vent drain ?

Where is your fresh water holding tank vent tube? There should be no cap on it.

Lower left corner. The little screen covered hole is all the overflow lines on trailers I have ever seen. The large hole is of course the fresh water tank fill. If you are driving without caps on your two low point drains, it is possible the fresh water tank is being siphoned.

Just had to. How does the tank water get through the pump to the main plumbing to be drained?

I was probably making an assumption that i shouldn't have that something was wrong with the pump.
Looking around on the Web I do see others with over flow lines that run under their trailers, and a few have reported the siphoning problem . Their conclusions point to the over flow tube entering into the top of the FW tank and running too far into the tank. Kinda hard to prove with an enclosed under belly...
