Wow... That's not good to hear. Glad all is well. I thought maybe because these tires held air so well they might actually be better than my previous Trail Express tires. Apparently not. I was hoping to get through his year on these tires... I already have over 1,000 miles on them... This has me reconsidering that thought.

Self-adjusting sort of ratchet out as the pads wear. Then when you install new pads it's reset.
Old fashioned means you have to jack up each wheel and adjust a star nut inside the brake (from an access hole) to push brakes out and compensate for wear.
I seem to have a decrease in braking with my controller turned up.

I'm pretty sure this is somewhat common. On my previous Rockwood, all three put me at 26amps. The difference is the A/C. This 13,500btu Dometic draws about 2amps more than my previous 15,000btu Coleman Mach. Makes no sense.

How do you switch the water heater to propane? There's the on/off switch in the bathroom and then the switch outside on the water heater itself. Are they different? I just thought the outside switch was like a master power switch and electric was the only option.....

Yes... They are different. The outside switch is for electric. The inside is for propane. You can have them both on, or run them independently. Just make sure there's water in your hot water tank when you flip the outside switch or it will fry your heating element instantly. We almost always run propane only, just because of the amp draw using electric.

Thanks for the info on the water heater switches! Never knew there was a difference. You think they would have mentioned that on the walk through, lol!! In that case then, I'll just run off the inside switch and propane as well. Thanks again.

Anyone have any close call scraping the trailer's back end when towing/backing on an incline? We noticed the clearance is pretty tight back there when either backing into a hilly driveway/campsite and/or towing down a hill onto a flat road where the change is pretty abrupt. Just wondering if anyone else has had the same pucker factor I did, lol.

I do just hit the triangle piece backing into my driveway. I removed the sewer support, pushed waste pipe up till it stopped and drilled new hole in bracket. I gained an inch lol. She is a lower camper for sure!

I have a 2014 Apex 288BHS and just returned from our July 4th camping trip. While cleaning the camper I noticed the sink counter top was pulled away from the wall about 1/2 inch from the edge by the sink to about where the gas burners begin. When I put the slide out, the counter was sucked tight to the wall again. Anyone experience this kind of movement?

Mine would drop a hair by the bread box side (left) i pre drilled a screw from underneath and up in to the side of the bread box. I only saw the gap while slide was in. Id check yours out underneath and see how its secured, maybe its pulled off wall or needs a better way to be attached.
Ill check mine out also and report back.

There is a wood strip underneath, i would pull it off load with pl construction adhesive and screw it back in.

Thanks for the quick reply. I think I may have a bigger issue with the counter pulling away. I noticed I can see a floor seam the width of the coach right where the sofa and counter meet. The sofa side is a little bit lower and I think when the slide is in it drops slightly and pulls the counter off the wall. When the slide is out everything fits correctly. The floor does not feel soft or spongy anywhere. I looked for signs of water damage underneath the coach and didn't see anything. I'm not sure how the floor is constructed but if I stand at the rear of the sofa I can see a straight line going left to right and there is a small difference in height. Do you think it is just a floor seam or a bigger structural issue? I can find any pics of the floor construction.
