The line is just below the fork in the picture. It starts at the cabinet and runs in a straight line to almost the dinette. The floor is level under the dinette. Nothing feels soft or spongy. Hope the picture shows up well

The seam is just above the fork, the picture inverted. It runs for almost the length of three tile blocks. Under the dinette the floor is level

Interesting, i dont have that at all. Does the flooring feel soft inbetween the gap like the floor board opened up or shrunk?
The floor is made up of 2 sheeys 1/4" luan with Styrofoam glued inbetween. When the slide is closed how do you know the gap closes up?

With the slide closed, the sink counter is tight to the wall. The floor doesn't feel soft in that area, it feels more like a support bar is there when you walk over it. It's odd that the seam is a straight line with a definite point where you can see the linoleum move. I wonder if the luan cracked at that point. I wish I had a picture of the floor construction to try and determine what's going on there. Thanks again for all your help, you quick replies keep me from losing my mind.....lol. The coach is 2014 and I wouldn't expect structural problems with it. The azdel walls were a strong point in buying this camper so I wouldn't have to worry about the wall delaminating. Hopefully this floor issue is nothing major.

I was sold on the azdel walls too!
The seem is sideways but the sink cabnet pulls off the exterior slide wall? Seems odd the seem openes up one way and the cabnet moves another!

I think that because the sofa side is lower, it causes the sofa to pull down when someone is sitting there and possibly cause a twist is the cabinet. The gap is only at the sink on the exterior wall and does not continue past the stove top. That's my wild guess. My real concern is if the floor has been compromised. I am always so worried about water damage in a travel trailer. I'll have to monitor it and see if it gets any worse over the next few trips. There are not many diagrams online about the roof and floor construction. I hope to enjoy it for many more years.

Could always ask an apex rep at coachmen. Check that strip of wood under sink which holds all that to the wall also.

Is your converter under the dinette? Looks like you have a cabnet draw where my converter sits...

Hey guys...I'm going to get metal valve stems installed for my stem mounted TPMS. I've more or less decided to take the rims in myself instead of taking the camper.
Any ideas? I wouldn't mind taking all 4 at once. That'd mean putting it on jack stands. Not sure how to do that.
Where do I jack?
Where should I put the stands?
What jack do you recommend?
Think 1 ton jacks would do the trick?
Any reason I shouldn't do all 4 at once?

I would say 2 jacks on one side under each spring perch lifting each tire enough to get a stand under each axel. Make sure each stand is close as possible to spring perch. Repeat for other side.

Looks pretty awesome. Where's that at? We're just wrapping up our week in the Outer Banks (Kill Devil Hills). Unfortunately, our trip is not with camper in tow. Next trip isn't until mid August.

Do your thermostats suck? Mine is horrible. Sometimes 10 deg off. Cycles the slow/fast fan too much as it approaches temps.
It's digital. Can't recall a model or maker.
There are dozens of thermostat upgrade threads. I dread having to dig through them...

Yes it is a little odd, i just keep it on low ac and i can here when the compressor kicks off but fan still stays on. Much better to sleep with one solid noise then on and off for us!

I was very disappointed when I saw that the 288 came with a Dometic A/C. I had one previously that was loud, vibrated the camper, and the thermostat wasn't very accurate. Our Rockwood came with a Coleman Mach... Great unit. Now we're back to the Dometic and same issues as before. We've kinda gotten used to it, however.
We leave the fan on continuously at night, and then let the whole system cycle through the day.

On another note... Finally got the bathroom vent cover put on. Nice to have the fan running even when it's raining.

I got the Fantastic Vent Cover. I had it on my Rockwood, so I figured the same for this one. It was pretty easy to install.

Guy told me once, stuff still gets underneath then its harder to get out!
I have a little 18v makita blower i use, love it! Milwaukee make one too if you have any of these cordless tools.

I've been on the fence but last trip I had to pull it in while raining. I've lubricated all the seals but you still don't get a great 'wipe' and got more water than I cared for inside.

Put covers on and blow off underneath before pulling in?

I'm just unsure of the best cover and the complexity. Seems some RVs have a channel to attach the cover so it's a breeze. I don't think ours has that so it's probably a much larger job.
