Well, we finally picked it up yesterday, the New to me 2018 Chaparral 392mbl, and the whole family loves it. The tow home was about 2 hours and the truck handled it great. No need to upgrade the suspension in any way as far as I can tell. It is nice when you are towing within the capabilities of your tow vehicle. Driver on the highway, on the other hand, now that is a different story.

I can't wait to get this to our land in Maine. It is going be a great home away from home.

Don't mind the dirty truck. It was literally clean the day before but we drove up in the rain. Dang black trucks and the dirty spring New England roads.

Thanks for all the advise I have gotten here. I will be around and hopefully I can contribute as well.

-Jeff

Beautiful.

Hmmmm.......I see three this side. Is it a 4 or 5 slide rig?
That’s a lot of square footage. Enjoy.

Congrats! We love our 360IBL.

Highly recommend getting the tires balanced ASAP.

If you plan to use a TPMS, strongly recommend getting metal stems.

I balanced within the first couple hundred miles, used TPMS and always ensured psi was at 80 before towing. Rig scaled at 12k, 2k less than the 14k GVWR

I had 2 blowouts at 7k mi and 3rd at 9.2k. All were reimbursed (constancy). I threw the 4th tire away before it caused any blowout damage.

If I knew then what I know now I would have gotten Sailun or Goodyear 614 load range G tires before 5k miles.

Nobody wants their rig sitting in the shop getting repairs.

Hope you guys make lots of good memories and use it in good health!

How can they get away with putting bad tires on these things? It seems like it would be a safety issue at worst and definitely a significant quality issue at best. How many people are actually having blowouts with these tires? I will definitely be looking into it more. Luckily I am not pulling it all over the countryside. Just 2 trips a year up to Maine in the spring and back in the fall. Hopefully I can get through this year and look into changing them next spring.

Thanks for the advise.
