Repair weather strip on front cap?

Has anyone replaced this? It's exposed about 6" or so of screws that are covered by this normally.

If you have a look at the pics, it seems to have shrunk(?) and is all squished up like an accordion and is sticking out at the bottom.

This is only on the one side.

Just wondering what specifically it may be called - and where to find it? Is this a pretty generic item? Is it easy enough to replace that I shouldn't need to make an appointment if I can find it? Not sure if it needs to slide in from the top or bottom the entire length or if it is just put in place and pushed into the retainer.

Thanks.

I have a different TT but have this problem every year with similar trim that runs across the length at top. Seems weather causes shrinking/expansion which leads to this.

I've easily done this myself using "Camco 2512 Vinyl Trim Insert". Amazon is your friend on this one.

I can't tell from the picture if this is the exact trim that you need but it's fairly generic and worked great for me. Just ripped out the old and put the new in---no tools required.

Being "Black" adds to the Issues! Mr Sun makes this Vinyl trim Grow!On install allow for "Length Expansion! Some "Batch Runs" are more prone to Distort, buy some from a RV Dealer and see if you have better results! Some "Batch Runs" of the "White" have issues also, like Cracking every Inch! Youroo!!

Thanks, the name you provided helped me find this item. I found a different Camco number for 1"x25' (25113) which led me to the related items where I found some trim from "RV Designer E369", some of the reviews indicate its heavier duty than than the Camco stuff so I picked it up.

Wouldn't have found any of this without the tip, thanks.

Most TT will have this issue as stated, we just waited for a sunny day and pulled it back up to the top and used a 3/4" self tapping screw through the trim into the channel. Problem solved.
