Replacing globes on pendent lights over island
Hello all,
I have a 392mbl and the globes are cracked. I order new ones from coachman but I can't figure out how to replace them. They are LED lights and there is a retaining nut in the middle of them but the LED pad is soldered through the center. Not sure how to explain it really but I was wondering if anyone has had to replace these and might have some advice.

A couple of pictures might help. Someone may have the same fixtures in a different RV. Or someone might know how to take them apart once they've seen them.

Have you received the new globes yet? If not, maybe when you see what they send to you, it will be obvious.

You may need to take it apart starting at the ceiling mount and work down to the globe.

It's hard to tell from your picture, but mine had a threaded collar that held the globe in place. I had a access it from inside the globe

As stated by SWMelton, the complete assembly has to be replaced, ask me how I know. LOL! The replacements you will get will not be the same fixtures, they have since changed to a lighter glass globe and the base mount does not match the mounting holes already in your ceiling.
What I did was swapped the base mounts by removing the nut that holds it to the stem. That way the mounting holes are the same and you are not having to create new ones.
Note: That Coachmen and Shasta FW are manufactured in the same plant.

Than k you all for the input. I think I must have to replace the entire unit as there seems to be no way to separate the globes from the stems. Even though the ones that Coachman sent me were separate globes. I will have to get ahold of someone in support at Coachman and see how I can get the entire units.

No, Not yet. It looks like I am going to have to replace the entire pendant though. I don;t think the globe is meant to come off separately.
