RV 3-way Tee Connector for Toilet

Can someone tell what 3-way Tee Connector I need to connect a bidet to a Dometic 320 toilet. The picture is for reference, it is for a sticks and bricks toilet.

Most RVs use a 1/2" MPT fitting some FPT, at the water entry. So you will need to figure out which fitting you have and which is on the spray hose. The good news is you can find both at the local hardware for a few bucks.

Whay is there a difference in thread sizes between RV's and homes? The Tee that comes with the bidet works fine with a home install but not so with a RV.

The issue is that residential toilets use a 7/8" Ballcock fitting at the toilet and a compression fitting (usually 3/8") at the other end. RV toilets use a 1/2" NPT fitting at the toilet, and it's connected directly to the piping.

Basically what you need is a 1/2" NPT Street Tee, and supply lines that adapt from the Tee to the Bidet.

I think I found what I need on Amazon. Lowes and HomeDepot didn't have them.

That looks like that will probably do it.

G1/2 is not 1/2"npt. It might work, but it might not. It's a European thread. You can buy adaptors. LINK
Good Luck.

keep in mind that in water supply you can be working with threads that are straight or threads that tapered. It depends on how the seal works. If it is sealing via the threads, meaning no washer of any kind, it should be tapered threads. If there is a washer involved, then you should be dealing with straight threads. It is easy to get the two miss matched which may result in a leak.

You can call LUXE Bidet and order the tee. Its 1/2inch and you can get it in plastic or metal. I installed the Luxe neo 185 in my Lexington and ask them to include the half inch tee when I placed the order for the seat.. You might consider installing a supply shut off valve while you're at it.

I put a Brondell Swash 1400 bidet seat on a Dometic 320. The pics show what I started with, what I made to make it work and how it looked installed. I used all new fittings from one of the Big Box stores.
The ball valve is so I can remove the bidet when I winterize the camper. I bring it into the house so it does not freeze
