Sanitizing Water System

I have a 2017 Chaparral 392 MBL....FINALLY the weather is better allowing us to de-winterize. I went out today to “sanitize” our system using some bleach/water mix. Problem is, how the heck do you get it in the system??? It’s not like my old trailer where you could just pour it down the big fill hole....the hose hooks up to the panel!!!

Run some water in the FW tank via the panel then disconnect hose from water supply and let water drain from hose. Then pour the bleach into the hose and reconnect to water supply and continue to fill FW tank.

Cut a 2' section of old garden hose or go to the hardware store and by a section of plastic hose smaller than the inlet for your tank. Use a funnel.

That’s the problem, I don’t have an “inlet” like you are suggesting that I can put a hose into. I only have a fitting on my panel where the hose screws into

Adding bleach to the hose, as mentioned, is the most common way.

A friend of mine made a way to ingest the bleach into the system using a garden hose chemical sprayer. They added a short garden hose hose to the outlet end of the sprayer, (which was then hooked to the city/fill port on the side of the rig) added bleach to the container, connected a garden hose to the inlet side of the sprayer and viola!, as the water entered the fresh tank passing through the sprayer, so did the bleach.
